Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and eager Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and experience in the air conditioning and pool heating industry. The ideal candidate will assist experienced technicians in installing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning systems while learning the fundamentals of the trade.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units and pool heat pumps.
• Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Participate in routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Document work performed and maintain records of services provided.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Complete Certificate III in Air conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32211)

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong interest in HVAC systems and a desire to learn.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Speak fluent English.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment (for example, 30kg).
• Comfortable working in various environments, including residential and commercial settings.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
