About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic clinical nurse to join our team and become a key provider of service and support in the day to day running of Renaissant Aesthetic Health.

This role is intended to be full-time, though a part-time appointment may be considered for an exceptional candidate. You will be primarily based at our Taringa location and will contribute to a 4-week roster with regular hours, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for:

• Working alongside our surgeon in providing support and a positive experience to our clients throughout their entire treatment journey;
• Participating in client consultations and in-office treatments;
• Capturing clinical before and after images;
• Postoperative wound care, dressings and scar management;
• Providing relevant and accurate education to clients pre and post surgery;

We also have our own day hospital at East Brisbane, and you may be offered the opportunity to work at this facility on a rostered basis.

About You

The successful candidate will be a nurse with full Ahpra registration and a minimum of two years experience working as a registered nurse. We value the right mix of experience and enthusiasm. You may have a background in hospital practice, on wards or in theatre, or you may come from a specialist clinic background. The right candidate for this role will use all of their skills and experience and still learn new things every day. You will find this role very rewarding.

We are also looking for:

• We are particularly looking for dedicated nursing professionals with experience in operating theatre and hospital practice, as well as specialist clinic backgrounds;
• Someone with a keen interest in skin cancer treatment and post op care.
• Experience across injectables, laser/IPL, surgical and/or non-surgical procedures will be highly regarded but is not essential;
• Neat and professional presentation;
• A team player who will work positively and commit to caring for our clients;
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and clients;
• Open to learning and adaptable to change;
• Compassionate, friendly, flexible and reliable;
• Solid competency in medical practice IT skills.
