SRH Architecture offers a comprehensive and integrated approach to design that goes beyond the scope of traditional architectural practices. SRH Architecture’s structural department members perform engineering consultancy and documentation tasks for both internal and external projects. Tasks include design, plan, organise and/or oversee the construction of projects, mainly residential/commercial buildings/ healthcare, but also open to others such as bridges, retaining walls, sewerage or water tanks; analyse the statical properties of all types of structures; and estimate and monitor the construction costs of projects.

Duties:

• Prepare structural drawings using Archicad and AutoCAD under supervision of senior engineer.
• Perform structural analysis assisted by software (Strand7, RAPT).
• Perform elements design to Australian Standards (AS4100, AS3600, any other relevant code)
• Assist the project lead with project administration.
• Perform on-site inspections and reports.
• Assist with the business development aspect of the structural engineering department.

Skills and Experience:

• Technical proficiency in ArchiCAD/AutoCAD - required
