About the business and the role

BLOCHTECH Engineering was established in Western Australia in 1999. Since then we have designed, developed and commissioned hundreds of control systems projects on a variety of vendor platforms.

We are searching for an experienced project manager to join our dynamic and experienced team delivering high quality control systems projects to a number of new and existing clients across industry sectors.

Job tasks and responsibilities

In this role you will:

• Liaise with clients regarding to the commercial, scheduling, and technical aspects of their project
• Maintain project schedules for the BLOCHTECH engineers and subcontract packages, and ensure the project team is correctly resourced
• Provide the interface between the project team and client for TQs and other information exchange
• Ensure compliance with the requirement of the clients contract management system
• Review and approve timesheets and milestones
• Prepare monthly progress payment claims
• Track project performance against original quote
• Provide quotes for variations and other additional project requirements

Skills and experience

Skills and Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Office projects (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Teams, etc)
• Experience with Microsoft Project for project scheduling and progress tracking
• Prior experience managing Control Systems and Electrical fabrication/installation projects
• Excellent communication skills - oral and written

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years working as a project manager in a similar role
• Experience with both off-site and site scheduling and project management for construction projects
