Structural Steel Riggers or Boilermakers with rigging experience.

We’re seeking experienced Structural Steel Riggers (or Boilermakers with rigging experience) to join our erection teams working on projects in the Greater Sydney area.

Requirements:

• Proven experience installing and assembling structural steel components according to engineering specifications.
• Own basic rigging tools.
• Boilermaker qualifications are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities include.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret Structural Steel Drawings/Marking Plans
• Ability to work in a Team Environment under the direction of a Project Manager/Site Supervisor
• Have a proactive approach to safety requirements.
• Comply with Project requirements and deadlines.
• Have an appreciation for the physical aspect of the role.

What you will bring

• Australian recognized HRWL Qualifications / Licenses for related position
• Basic rigging license as a minimum.
• Your own basic rigging tools required.
• A current driver's license is essential.
• White Card
• EWP license, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces training highly regarded.
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in structural steel erection
• Cert III in heavy fabrication (boiler making) would be advantageous but not essential.
