What you’ll do

• Lead complex data solution development, data flow design (ETL), and root cause analysis
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipeline using AWS Redshift, DBT and Databricks
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and engineers to deliver best-in-class data solutions
• Mentor and uplift the data engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation
• Influence technical strategy and ensure alignment with governance and best practices

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years’ experience in large-scale data engineering, ideally in insurance or financial services
• Expertise in AWS (Redshift, DMS, S3), Databricks, DBT, and SQL performance tuning
• Strong background in data modelling, ETL design, and cloud-based data solutions
• Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, Unix scripting, and CI/CD practices (Git, Jenkins)
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
