Job description:

Location: Broadmeadows (Hume Tech School)
Role Type: Full time, ongoing
Remuneration: $123,100 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation

About The Role:

The Hume Tech School is part of the Victorian Government's Tech Schools commitment to developing the skills needed in young people for their future in the workforce. Set to open its doors in 2026, this innovative facility will foster innovation, creativity, and technological literacy among students from partner secondary schools in the Hume region.

As the Educational Technology Manager, you will:

  • Lead the research, procurement, testing and commissioning of technologies and software solutions for the successful delivery of tech school programs
  • Plan, design and implement a comprehensive technology program to facilitate the use of educational technology across the tech school
  • Collaborate with the Tech School leadership team to develop, implement, and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Provide operational support for technologies deployed within the tech school and equipment on loan to partner schools
  • Contribute to the overall strategic vision and direction of Hume Tech School

We are excited about you because you have:

  • Graduate or bachelor's degree in education or technology-related disciplines
  • Significant experience within the educational technology sector as a principal authority
  • Demonstrated experience in research, procurement, testing and commissioning of new equipment and troubleshooting new technologies for secondary-school students
  • Experience with delivering applications in a networked environment
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver technical and/or teaching to a non-technical audience
  • Knowledge of common software application packages, equipment platforms, and multimedia systems
  • Experience in using new technologies to collaborate, develop, deliver and evaluate learning programs that foster critical and creative thinking
  • Experience supporting and supervising teachers and facilitators, including coaching & mentoring

  • Current police check
  • Certified right to work documentation
  • Certified copies of your qualifications and transcripts
