Rapid Equipment Hire are a well-established company that hires construction tools and machines in general building and civil industries. We currently have a vacancy for an Tilt Tray Truck Driver to join our team.

About the role

This role is based at our head office in Kunda Park Maroochydore and reports directly to the Front Office Manager. The primary role is for deliveries and to assist in the yard/ workshop when not on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Driver the job role will include (but not limited to):

• Deliveries of various equipment
• Assisting in yard/ workshop
• Liaise with the Front Office Manager for the scheduling of deliveries
• Customer service over the phone and building lasting relationships

Skills & Requirements:

• Good knowledge of the Gympie to North Brisbane locations
• Prior deliveries experience Ideal but not essential
• Positive can-do attitude essential with excellent time management skills
• Strong commitment to excellent customer service
• Excellent attention to detail
• Hold a current Manual Drivers license essential / Advantage MR Manual Drivers License
• Forklift license Advantage
• White Construction card essential
• Ability to work occasional after hours shifts during emergency deliveries if required and a rostered Saturday
• Enjoy a fast-paced role in a great team environment
• Strongly committed to Workplace Health & Safety, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Reliable, self-motivated with good time management skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure
