If so, you might be the person we are looking for to perform the role of either the Assistant Director Workforce Development or Assistant Director Training & Overseas Management within the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Regulatory Design (NPSRD) team.

The EL 1 Assistant Directors will be required to drive the development and implementation of effective training and development solutions to meet the evolving skill requirements of both technical and non-technical APS and ADF staff throughout the evolution of the Australian Naval Nuclear Power Safety Regulator (ANNPSR). This will include working closely with key nuclear and regulatory stakeholders in support of workforce development synergies.

You will also be responsible for the facilitation and support of overseas embedments and secondments for ANNPSR staff with our AUKUS partners.

Due to the unique workplace context and sensitive work undertaken, candidates may be required to undergo additional suitability screening or assessments.

Whilst this position has been advertised through Department of Defence, in line with the announcement made by the Australian Government on 14 Mar 23, this position will move to a new Statutory Agency with an effective date yet to be confirmed.
