About the role

The Heritage Bendigo is seeking a Housekeeper / Cleaner to join our team on a casual basis at our motel located in Golden Square, Victoria. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and clean stay with us.

What you'll be doing

• Thoroughly clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard
• Replenish supplies in guest rooms and communal areas as needed
• Ensure all work is completed within the allocated timeframes
• Identify and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when interacting with guests

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper or Cleaner in the motel/hotel industry
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to high standards
• Good physical fitness and stamina to complete physically demanding tasks
• Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• A flexible and adaptable work style to accommodate the needs of the business
