Charge-Up Operators - Production and Development (Underground Shotfirers licence)

We are looking for experienced Underground Operators to join our dynamic team. These positions will require self-motivation, drive and multi-skilling.

The ideal candidates will be proactive, forward-thinking, with a strong ability to foster a culture of inspiration, innovation and collaboration across the team.

These roles will offer a 14:14 roster FIFO from Perth.

Essential Criteria

1. Must have full working rights in Australia.
2. MUST HAVE WA Underground Shotfirers licence
3. Clear NPC
4. 3+ years’ mining experience
5. Current and Valid Manual Australian Drivers Licence
6. Adhere to WHS policies and procedures
7. Recognised RPL achievements

Advantageous Criteria

• Safe Working at Heights
• First Aid Certificate
• Current & Valid Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Confined Space

About You

You must be self-motivated, with a can-do attitude and willingness to work in a small and effective team. Your success depends on your integrity, dedication, teamwork, and strong communication skills.

You will have:

• WA Shotfirers licence - Underground
• Experience with working in production and development crews or operating in this environment (i.e. stope drilling, charging).
• Interpret plans and record explosives usage
• Experience in conducting the blast
• Experience in complete post-blast activities
• Complete thorough re-entries
• Stock control
• Complete and carry out comprehensive and detailed end-of-shift communications
• Extensive knowledge of safe work practices and techniques applied in underground mining.
• Methodical approach to completing tasks, well organised and the ability to work autonomously.
• Capacity to think laterally and work through obstacles with sound communication, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service skills, able to build and maintain successful working relationships.
• Respect and understanding of confidentiality.
