Personal Carer Traineeship | Blue Care | Wynnum Aged Care Facility

• Employment Status: Permanent full time and part time opportunities
• Location: Wynnum Residential Aged Care Facility
• Remuneration: $32.07 per hour + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay)
• The Program: Complete a Certificate 3 in Individual Support with us, while you earn an income! We’ll connect you with government funding so you complete the certificate at no cost! (valued at approx. $3650)

The Role:

Once a fully qualified personal carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

While completing your certificate you will undertake these same duties, with the guidance of a qualified Personal Carer.

What you’ll need:

• Basic experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
• Full right to work in Australia
