We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Data Engineer to join our client in Financial Services on the complete re-platforming of their data system. You will be working alongside a team of talented senior engineers and collaborating with solutions architects and tech leads to migrate data from an old system to a new platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to an exciting and challenging transformation project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for the migration project.
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and efficiency.
• Leverage Databricks, PySpark, Azure DevOps, ADF, and SQL to build and optimize data workflows.
• Work closely with architects and tech leads to ensure best practices are followed in data engineering and platform design.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of data solutions for the greenfields project.

Technical Skills required:

• Databricks
• Azure DevOps
• PySpark
• SQL
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Good to Have:

• Azure Cosmos DB
• Python
• DBT
• Experience with IDP (Identity Platform)

About You:

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, with a strong background in cloud-based data platforms and migration projects.
• Experience in Financial Services industry is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• A passion for building scalable and efficient data systems.
