An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and emerging leader within the Information Technology field to lead our team of talented technical professionals in a high performing and thriving organisation.
As the Manager Information Technology, you will utilise your strong networking skills and your ability to translate technology into impactful business solutions. You will guide your team whilst overseeing key strategic areas such as budget management, vendor relationships, policy development, and process improvements. As the Manager Information Technology, you will foster an approachable, open environment that encourages creative thinking, empowering your team to contribute ideas and drive positive change across the organisation.
Your focus on governance, combined with a hands-on approach to updating documentation and policies, will be vital to your success in the role.
To be successful you will need:
- Strong ability to motivate, oversee, coordinate, and drive a team of resources through modelling leadership in addition to managing the day-to-day transactional activity pertaining to people management.
- Experience in IT project management including procurement, design, build, configuration, and implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of IT technical services, delivery processes, IT standards and methodologies to achieve high quality service outcomes aligned to strategic objectives.
- High level and proven financial management skills including sound knowledge of budgeting, costing of works and expenditure control.
- The ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with staff, people at all levels within the public and private sectors and related industry.

This is a full-time, permanent position offered at General Officer Level 8 $123,375.04 - $131,436.08 under our Enterprise Agreement 2022. Essential position requirements
- This position requires you to hold and provide evidence of a current and valid National Police Check (NPC) before being appointed to the position.
