The Role

As a Cleaner within the CHOICES & Aged Care Services you will be required to provide ‘domestic assistance’ to individuals with a disability, psychosocial disability or who are aged, in their own homes. The type of service delivered may range from vacuuming to cleaning bathrooms and toilets. Each shift will be different depending on the individual needs of each person; however, direction will be provided for each shift.

Locations Available:

Canberra, Goulburn, Eurobodalla and Bega.

About Us

Marymead CatholicCare is the social services arm of the Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn. About You

The ideal person we are looking for has:

• Experience in providing in home cleaning services.
• Commitment to providing a quality cleaning service.
• Strong customer focus and good communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a client’s home.
• Hold a smart phone which can be used for work purposes.
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate, current CPR training and a certificate demonstrating the successful completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You.

Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check.

You must also hold:

• A current driver’s licence, and
• A Working with Vulnerable People Card
