Their Queensland depot, based in Stapylton, is central to the company's expansion, and they are seeking career-driven professionals to join their dynamic team and contribute to national growth.

You will be responsible for keeping the yard clean and well-organised, assisting with different stages of girder production, and contributing to a safe work environment. To be successful for this position, we are seeking physically fit, detail-oriented, and ability to organise and manage their yard-related tasks.

Your responsibilities are:

• Material Handling: Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment components using forklifts and other equipment.
• Yard Maintenance: Keep the yard area clean, organised, and free of debris. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products. Report any discrepancies or shortages.
• Assist in Production: Support production activities by transporting materials, tools, and equipment as needed. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including welders and fabricators, to facilitate seamless workflow and meet project deadlines.
• General Labour: Perform general labour tasks as assigned, including but not limited to cleaning, sweeping, and assisting in the setup of work areas.
• Customer Service: welcoming clients, suppliers and other personal in and out of the yard.

About you!

• Previous experience in Warehouse or manufacturing
• Physical aptitude to handle manual tasks
• Literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record keeping of inventory
• Strong work ethic with a high emphasis on safety
• High Risk Work licence, ability to operate a forklift
• Construction White card
• Current valid driver's licence and car to commute to work
• Basic computer skills/ use of an iPad
• Able to commit to a Monday - Friday roster, working 7am - 3pm, with Saturday and OT available.
