We service, maintain and install new equipment for commercial, industrial and domestic industries across Melbourne’s West and greater metropolitan areas. We are currently seeking to appoint a Service Manager to lead a small team of Refrigeration & Airconditioning Service Technicians to deliver a high standard workmanship and customer service excellence. This position would suit either a seasoned Service Manager with proven experience or an experienced senior refrigeration & air conditioning technician ready to get off the tools and step into a leadership position.
This position will be responsible for:
• leading and managing the service team (up to 10) including driving performance and quality
• responding to job inquiries, customers & quoting jobs
• scheduling jobs and work crews
• providing technical support to the service team
• liaising with suppliers, ordering parts & equipment, managing warranty claims
• on-site quality checks ensuring high quality work standards are consistently achieved
• managing job related data using company software
• invoicing and closing jobs
• fostering internal & external professional relations and a safety culture
• continuous improvement initiatives, systems, processes, quality, efficiencies etc..
• business development, leveraging business opportunities for the service department
• Growing the service department
You require:
• strong technical knowledge in refrigeration, air-conditioning or plumbing services
• demonstrate the ability to lead and grow a team
• a trade qualification in Refrigeration, Air-conditioning or Mechanical Plumbing
• driver’s licence, white card and working with children’s check, ARC license
• capable tech skills to navigate internal CRM software, emails, excel.

We offer:
a competitive total salary package valued in the range 145K to 160K (includes wage+super+vehicle+phone), further training & development, work / life balance, the opportunity to run and grow your own department.
