About You

You are an experienced finance professional with a strong technical background and leadership skills. You thrive in a deadline-driven environment and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. You are confident in managing transactional finance functions while also working closely with senior leadership.

Key attributes and experience:

• Strong experience in month-end reporting, financial compliance, and process improvement
• Ability to lead and support a transactional finance team
• Experience with payroll approval and ensuring smooth payroll processing
• Knowledge of compliance requirements, including BAS and FBT review
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable mindset
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting deadlines, overseeing compliance obligations, and supporting a high-performing finance team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the month-end close process, ensuring reporting is accurate and timely
• Leading and supporting the transactional finance team
• Overseeing payroll processing and approvals
• Reviewing and finalising compliance obligations, including BAS and FBT
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure financial best practices are maintained
