About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated individual with high level skills and experience in a clinical role within the aged care service environment. The Clinical Advisor - Aged Care Services plays a critical role in supporting the Aged Care Services Program to achieve operational objectives in line with contractual requirements. This role is responsible for supporting staff to interpret and understand clinical information and identify clinical risk.

In addition to supporting operational staff, this role acts as a subject matter expert providing high level support to senior management to make sound, evidence based regulatory decisions on clinical matters. The Clinical Advisor - Aged Care Services contributes to the provision of holistic, high-quality person-centred care whilst supporting a culture of open disclosure and continuous improvement through leadership and participation in activities that enhance overall operational capability.

The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary qualifications such as nursing or allied health, along with relevant professional body registration or eligibility for membership. In addition to this, the successful applicant will have strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in clinical care within an aged care setting, including planning, program implementation, evaluation and training of staff.

This is a full-time position and can be located in any Intereach office.

This position has been classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award as Level 6 with an annual starting salary of $106,387.84 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging options.
