Why This Role?

This is a full time 6-month opportunity, offering practical experience in lean manufacturing, data-driven decision-making, and process optimisation. You’ll be working on high-impact projects that directly contribute to operational improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The Role: What You’ll Do

• Conduct time studies to analyse process cycle times and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Perform work sampling to evaluate labour utilisation and workflow efficiency.
• Develop a Value Stream Map (VSM) to optimise plug-making and pool manufacturing processes.
• Lead a Pool Weight Evaluation Study, analysing weight variations to enhance production efficiency.
• Collect, clean, and interpret production data to drive informed decision-making.
• Design dashboards and reports to visualise key insights for process optimisation.
• Ensure all work aligns with safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

What We’re Looking For

• We need someone who’s enthusiastic about hands-on work on the shop floor—someone who can spot opportunities for improvement and take action with practical, effective solutions. If you're a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
• Studying or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for optimisation and efficiency.
• Experience (or knowledge of) lean manufacturing, process improvement, and data analysis tools is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
