Davidson Technology have teamed up with a Major Water Utilities Organisation in Melbourne to help them find their next Data Integration Developer.

This is a great 6-month initial contract, with views for extension.

1-2 days a week on site with the rest at home, office location close to public transport!

About the Role

The role encompasses the design and implementation of integration solutions primarily using Azure Data Factory, Function Apps and SQL Server. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and will possess advanced analytical skills.

About You (Skills and Experience needed)

Ideal experience of 5 years or more with:

• Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps (C#) - Expert level
• SQL DB, SQL Server (including strong TSQL skills) - Expert level
• API integration and tools, Azure APIM, API policies and Postman
• Connectivity and secure authentication and controls using Secure FTP, Https, OAuth & TLS1.2
• Knowledge of secure integrations using passwordless, SFTP, PGP encryption
• Github Integration for Azure Data Factory and Function Apps and related CI/CD concepts
• Knowledge of ADLS, Key Vault, Log Analytics, KQL desirable.
• Power BI experience on the data side (not visual side) including incremental refresh, full refresh concepts and configuration desirable.

Experience with Azure Data Factory and strong Data Integration Skills will be non-negotiable for this role.
