Are you a BDA looking for the next step in your career or are you a dynamic and driven sales professional with a passion for asset management? This company are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the distribution of their market-leading ETFs across the intermediary channels.

About the Company

Work for a global investment manager headquartered in New York, with offices across Australia, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. They are dedicated to providing innovative investment solutions, and they need a top-tier professional to grow their presence in south Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute new business strategies to increase profitability, net revenue, and Assets under Management (AuM).
  • Manage the sales cycle, including lead generation, activities, process execution, and conversion.
  • Build, maintain, and grow a robust portfolio of clients including Financial Advisers, Accountants, and Brokers.
  • Leverage existing relationships within the high-net-worth advisory, family office, broker, and Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) markets to raise the profile of the business.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities to enhance market presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, or related fields. RG146 compliance is essential; postgraduate qualifications like a Master of Applied Finance or CFA are advantageous.
  • 5 to 10 years of business development/sales experience in the Asset Management or Investment Banking industry.
  • Proven track record in executing sales strategies and raising assets within the Managed Investments/ASX Listed Financial Products sector.
  • Solid understanding of portfolio construction and asset allocation principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and client-focused environment while also working autonomously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with an exemplary telephone manner.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ETFs, Listed Investment Companies (LICs), and Managed Funds.
