MAYDAY is partnering with a growing organisation to recruit an enthusiastic Office Manager for their Sydney team.

This opportunity will have you overseeing operations and workplace experience across multiple offices. This role is Sydney based with the opportunity for travel opportunities to engage with interstate teams.

Key responsibilities include Facilities, supporting office organisation, and assisting with employee onboarding. The role involves collaboration with IT, admin teams, and external contractors to enhance workplace functionality.

With travel between sites, this is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to make a meaningful impact to a close-knit organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative processes.
  • Order and maintain office equipment, supplies and catering.
  • Plan and allocate workspace layouts to ensure a clean and organised working environment.
  • Introduce eco-friendly initiatives to promote sustainability and reduce environmental impact.
  • Track and manage office expenses, process invoices and process receipts.
  • Support with the onboarding of new employees by creating “welcome packs”, issuing IT access and conducting basic training on internal systems and processes.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained, including overseeing repairs, cleaning services, and coordinating vendor activities.

The ideal candidate:

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities efficiently, and ensure smooth daily office operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, management, and external contractors.
  • Skilled in identifying issues, evaluating potential solutions, and making informed decisions to resolve challenges promptly.
  • Previous facilities experience is essential.
  • Full working rights within Australia.
