About the role

Provide clinical Nuclear Medicine Scientist services commensurate with the level of clinical experience, primarily from the Queensland Children's Hospital. To demonstrate a competent level of professional knowledge and skills to perform routine clinical practice, with a level of supervision that decreases and experience increases. To participate in teams, operating at the level of clinical practice commensurate with level of experience.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver Nuclear Medicine Scientist clinical services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards within established clinical and radiation hygiene protocols.
  • Provide clinical practice supervision to less-experienced Nuclear Medicine Scientists and students.
  • Manages own professional standards, including radiation licencing, MRPBA registration, recency of practice and CPD requirements.
