The Role
As a Certificate III assistant educator, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting and working alongside team of educators in the 0-2 age group room to implement education and care programs that meet the holistic needs of the individual child as part of a community
• Communicating positively and ensuring a trusting relationship is developed with families through regular, honest and open communication regarding the care of their child
• Being reliable, respectful and work constructively with your colleagues and other professionals
• Having sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework

About You

To be successful in this position, you must have:

• A Certificate III in Early Childhood or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• A current Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
• Understanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
• Australian working rights
