ENAP have long standing client relationships in a diverse range of industries including the food, manufacturing, mining, chemical and materials handling industries.

About the role

Due to continued growth, Engineering Applications are looking for enthusiastic Maintenance Fitters of all levels that are interested in working on a variety of sites across a broad range of industries.

The ideal candidate needs to have a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work autonomously, and as part of team.

Fault finding, break down and preventative maintenance experience is essential. With a strong emphasis on safety, you will need to have the ability to self-manage your jobs to completion within a specified time frame. This position will suit a candidate that wishes to have a long term career with the desire to transition to full-time employment.

Key attributes:

• Certificate III in Engineering - (Mechanical)
• General safety induction white card
• Current industry experience conducting routine and breakdown maintenance across a broad range of industry
• Experience with installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment
• Experience with site shutdown
• The ability to problem solve and meet clients requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Availability to work overtime and some weekends (when required)

Desirable but not essential:

• Pneumatic / Hydraulic experience
  
• Forklift, EWP / Boom Lift Licenses
• Welding Skills, GMAW, GTAW & MMAW
• Fabrication skills
• Manual Machining and Milling
• Working at Heights training
• Confined Space training
• Dogging Ticket
• EWP Ticket
• Able to attend out of working hours breakdowns on a rotational roster
