About the Role:

The Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C) provides advanced nursing and/or midwifery services across a range of health service settings, building on experience and/or further studies. At this stage, nurses develop from competent to proficient practitioners, taking on increased responsibility for their own practice standards and guiding less experienced staff. The role remains primarily clinical in nature, but nurses at this level are also assigned specific portfolio responsibilities, which are tailored to their career development plans. These responsibilities are negotiated in alignment with the employee's performance review and development goals, offering a pathway for professional growth and leadership.

The Registered Nurse (RN/M1) role is focused on nurses who are evolving from novice to proficient practitioners. Nurses at this level provide high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services in various healthcare settings, consolidating their knowledge and skills while continuously developing through professional experience and ongoing education. Nurses at this stage are responsible for maintaining their own standards of care and are accountable for activities delegated to others. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development and the chance to further enhance clinical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
