Registered Nurse - Coleraine District Health Service

Permanent Part Time and Full Time hours available up to 80 hours per fortnight

Salary Range: A$79,352 to A$100,146.80 plus 11.5% Superannuation.

About the role

WDHS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse(s) to join our innovative and committed team at Coleraine. Previous experience in aged care, and an understanding of the ACFI and Aged Care Standards is highly desirable.

In this role you work across all areas in the facility including acute and aged care. The Registered Nurse works with the Endorsed Enrolled Nurses and Health Care workers to ensure person-centred care and evidence-based practice is provided to residents and patients in the facility. The successful applicant will be involved in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of allocated and delegated nursing care activities to assist the patient/resident to meet care needs and health outcomes and will have the ability and desire to lead a team of nurses and careers in providing excellent person-centred care to support and enrich the lives of the patients and residents.

You will bring:

  • AHPRA registration
  • Experience and knowledge in acute and aged care
  • Understanding ACFI documentation & Aged Care Standards
  • Wound management and the Montessori approach to individualise the aged care experience
