Casual position for Yagoona Distribution Centre - 15 - 20 hours per week.

Operating hours between 9:30am - 5pm, (no nightshifts).

We have a Casual Warehouse Operator Position at our Yagoona Distribution Centre available to the right candidate.

Your roles would include:

• Receive stock and review for accuracy of delivery.
• Pick, pack and despatch goods to agreed performance standards.
• Maintain a well presented, clean, organised Warehouse and working area at all times ensuring all products and pallets are correctly stored, easily accessed and to professional standards.
• Prepare outbound goods and supply to delivery drivers and/or end customers.
• Perform product and pallet handling tasks in Warehouse using forklifts and jack pallets and other lifting machinery/aids.
• Undertake stock control and count activities.
• Work with Store and Warehouse Team to ensure company assets are maintained and kept in good condition through preventative maintenance and minor breakdown repairs.
• Continuously review Warehouse operations as well as work procedures and initiate business improvement actions in liaison with the Warehouse Manager.
• Other duties as required or directed by the Warehouse Manager, State Manager and Directors.

Attributes we are looking for include:

• Experience working within a Warehouse and familiar with standard operations.
• Current Forklift Certificate.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills.
• Ability to contribute as a member of a team and autonomously.
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility for assigned duties.
• Be able to perform heavy lifting as required.
• Have previous warehouse experience (preferred not essential).
• LR Truck Licence (desirable).
