About the role:
Great pay rates of $40 - $60 overtime p/h + superannuation

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain a CNC Vertical Borer to machine complex components.
• Determine machining specifications from provided information and instructions.
• Perform manual machining tasks using lathes, mills, and grinders when required.
• Ensure all machines are calibrated and maintained for optimal performance.
• Conduct regular quality checks.
• Use precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment, adhering to company and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist with strong CNC machining knowledge.
• Hands-on experience operating CNC Vertical Borers.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Ability to set up and operate manual and CNC machines.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team or autonmously.
• Commitment to safety.

Desirable Skills:

• CNC programming experience.
• Experience in heavy engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Forklift license.
