About the role

We are seeking a talented Graphic & Textile Designer to assist with our sister brand AimeeSue Studio with fashion textile design and branding. As a casual role, this position offers the flexibility to work around your schedule and commitments. In this remote role you will be responsible for designing innovative graphics and textiles that enhance our customers clothing lines or branding.

What you'll be doing

• Creating original graphic designs and patterns for use on apparel, accessories and homewares
• Developing cohesive textile designs that can be applied across multiple product categories
• Interpreting design briefs and translating them into visually appealing, on-trend concepts
• Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and innovations in the fashion and textile industry
• Attending and styling photoshoots
• Assisting in the business growth
• Client reach outs and administration.

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Textile Design or a related creative discipline
• Demonstrated experience in creating graphics, prints and textile patterns for fashion and homewares
• Strong ability to translate design concepts into production-ready files and specifications
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, in either Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• An eye for detail, colour and composition, with a keen understanding of current design trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with new team members
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a dynamic creative team
