About the Role
As APS 6 Senior Assessment Officer you will actively monitor and assess the financial viability of providers, identify emerging risks, and provide valuable insights to drive improvements.

You will work collaboratively with other teams to support providers in strengthening their financial position, contributing to the development of better processes and standards across the sector.

What You Will Do

• Actively monitor providers exhibiting financial risks and undertake detailed risk assessments in line with the Financial Viability Risk Assessment Requirements Instrument 2021.
• Prepare comprehensive financial analysis reports that offer well-reasoned advice and actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to process improvements, including inputting revisions of our client's financial viability assessment approach.
• Participate in peer reviewing financial reports, ensuring high-quality outputs.

What You Will Bring

• Strong financial analysis skills and experience, ideally within the VET sector or a similar regulatory environment.
• Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA).
• Experience working in a compliance or regulatory environment.
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying financial risks.
• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
