Opportunities have arisen for a motivated, hardworking, Labourer, Trades Assistant to join our team at QMT, we are providing facility maintenance services in Queensland, Brisbane. We also take on away from home work installing mining camps around Australia

The key challenges are

• to provide efficient and seamless support service delivery for the day to day operation of the site.
• Hold a key role to ensure client satisfaction
• No day is the same, and free to organise your own diary

The role is ‘hands on’ and requires the incumbent to perform various physical activities and manual tasks including (but not limited to) lifting, lowering, walking, bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods, and using hand or power equipment.

You will possess the following:

· Current Open Driver’s License

· Elevated Work Platform lift licence desirable

· Confined spaces certificate desirable

· I can supply a car or happy to pay car allowance

Required Experience:

· Experience with time management and prioritization of workload

· Demonstrated experience in relevant trade area – commercial

· Proven experience communicating to employees all levels, customers, and suppliers

· Previous experience within a facilities management environment desirable

Skills and Knowledge:

· Current knowledge of work health and safety and risk management principles and practices

· Knowledge of current industry standards relevant to trades services operations

· Highly developed customer service skills

· Demonstrated commitment to principles of zero harm, service quality improvement and continuous improvement

· Ability to comprehend written and verbal communication, follow policies, procedures and instructions

· Ability to work as part of a team and individually by developing good working relationships with team members and enjoys the company of others.

· Ability to priorities tasks and work under pressure
