ICT HR Systems are seeking to establish a pool of Principal Systems Officers for fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2025 and up to the end of December 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join our HR Systems Development team in ICT. If you have a strong HR/Payroll background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to assess business needs and translate them into effective solutions, we would love to hear from you!

The HR Systems Team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Department’s human resource management information system (HRMIS) and other HR systems. HRMIS executes the Department’s payroll and contains other human resources information and data for the total workforce. Users are assisted by the team in areas of system administration and 3rd level support, problem resolution, systems maintenance, enhancements and training.

The Role

Principal System Officers plan, monitor and manage the administration of the Department’s HRMIS from an applications systems perspective. They develop and maintain knowledge of client business processes in relation to human resource management and make an active contribution to the improvement of these processes through the development of HRMIS.

Suitable applicants will undertake research in relation to HRMIS transactions and liaise with other business units and external service providers to resolve administrative and operational issues. This role will require suitable applicants to monitor, analyse and evaluate system scheduling, system access and utilisation, and provide recommendations for improvements and to resolve issues. #linkedin
