My client is a leading fabricator in Carole Park.

Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to appoint a highly skilled specialist forklift driver to join their high performing team.

The company moves irregular, non perishable items up to 6m in length for inwards goods and manufactured items of the up 4 meters in length and of variable heights. The manufactured items whilst robust can be damaged through inappropriate loading and unloading technques.

The factory has modern equipment, good facilities and a positive team culture.

This role reports to the production supervisor and is responsible for the:

• Day to day inwards and outbound stock movements.
• Loading of trucks.
• Basic maintenance of the FL.
• Working in a safe and efficient manner
• 6.30am-3pm M-F (some O/T available).

This role requires a full time, specialist FL driver and not someone who has worked a dual warehouse role or in simple pick and pack type environments. You will be operating the forklift 90% of your time.

The ideal candidate may have worked in the steel or timber fabrication business or with a business that ships production and engineering equipment etc.

Preference will be given to candidates living with a 45 min commute of Carole Park and due to the lack of public transport, you must have access to vehicle unless you live in Carole Park or very closeby.

The role is being offerred as permanent full time but we will also consider those looking for casual rates. Please specify on your application if you are seeking permanent full time or a casual role.
