The Role
Work Health Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with front-line leaders to identify and execute improvement initiatives
• Coordinate and actively participate in risk assessments to identify, control and mitigate workplace and operational hazards
• Engage with frontline staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and safety standards
• Take the lead in investigations into incidents and near misses including identifying root causes, implementing action plans and thorough follow-up
• Serve as a subject matter expert in safety including incident reporting, investigation, annual audits and necessary actions to support our Front-Line Leaders
• Cultivate a positive safety culture by promoting awareness, safety engagement and accountability across all levels of the organisation
• Encourage the reporting of safety concerns and suggestions for improvement, fostering an environment of continuous enhancement
• Utilise data to identify trends, measure safety performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with our senior leaders
• Prepare and deliver monthly reports for Executives, highlighting key safety metrics and areas for improvement.

About you

• Tertiary safety qualifications with relevant work experience in related discipline.
• Demonstrated successful experience in managing and leading teams operationally.
• Extensive knowledge and experience managing a broad range of Health, Safety, and wellbeing responsibilities across a complex business with a mix of white- and blue-collar stakeholders.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing process improvement and system optimisation strategies to deliver organisational compliance and efficiency.
• An operational safety leader, customer focus, accountability.
