REMUNERATION

Accredited Occupational Therapist: $39-$46/hour + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties.

The Sydney Private Hospital (TSPH) is a 90 bed rehabilitation and surgical hospital with 8 operating theatres. The hospital forms part of a larger 11 hospital Group that offers specialized rehabilitation services for both inpatient and outpatients. The Sydney Private Hospital is located in the heart of the Inner West in Ashfield. The hospital is 15 minutes’ walk from Ashfield station, easily accessible by bus and has free parking onsite.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Accredited Occupational Therapist at The Sydney Private Hospital who is enthusiastic and passionate about patient centered care to join our growing team. The appropriate candidate must be available to work five days a week, 8 hours per day. The hospital offers an excellent workplace with a friendly and welcoming team culture!

There is a large focus on continuing professional development with monthly in-services, continuous quality improvement projects, clinical supervision, clinical education and establishing close working relationships with universities.

• ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Excellent organization skills and communication
• Understanding and knowledge of the OT role in a rehabilitation setting
• Experience with working in an MDT
• Sound clinical reasoning and confidence with recommendation of therapy, equipment and home modifications
• 1-2 years hospital experience desired

REQUIREMENTS:

• Up to date vaccination record including 2 doses of Covid-19
• Current Working with Children Certificate
• Current National Police Check (within 6 months)
• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Current driver's license
• Valid Working rights
