ABOUT THE ROLE
To effectively supervise the reception, documentation and progress of telephone and other calls relating to the management of the day of shift absences and the rostering of on road vacancies. Through active supervision effectively co-ordinate the provision of the day of shift roster for the current day and to provide direction and assistance to the Absence Coordination Line Officer and administrative support to the rostering, deployment and People Hub teams. The position involves reviewing and determining roster vacancies are managed in a timely manner.
Roles are appointed on a permanent full time basis, working various shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for candidates with the below experience and capabilities:
- You have rostering experience where you can identify scheduling irregularities, plan for effective staff deployment and provide support to operational managers.
- Technical skills such as proficient use of call centre based programs, workforce management applications and Human Resource Information Systems.
- You have experience with shift management and task delegation in a fast paced, 24-hour workforce operation environment.
- You can demonstrate the ability to prioritise tasks and duties from a wide range of competing sources.
