About Us:

We’re a small, 6 person family business, that creates and manufactures specialty products for the film industry, both locally and internationally.

Our company is known for high quality, long lasting professional special effects products and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service.

Your role:

Colour processing and matching specialty cosmetics, product manufacturing, product pouring and bottling, plus general laboratory assistance.

This role requires the ability to multitask, prioritise, organise, and maintain a high standard of work, as well a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Tasks and duties the successful candidate will be expected to undertake:

• Manufacture a range of body artists’ products
• Independently weigh ingredients on digital scales, as detailed by various formulae
• Colour match a broad spectrum of alcohol based and water based body paint products
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness across a variety of applications and processes
• Be responsible for notations regarding manufacturing of product, including the logging of raw ingredients and product batch numbers
• Dispense products into appropriate containers, bottles and palettes as per specific detailed instructions

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Experience with colour matching and mixing paint like products
• Accurately weigh and measure ingredients on small and large increment scales
• Exercise utmost care and precision regarding cleanliness and hygiene
• Able to safely lift up to 25kgs
• Can work without supervision or in a team

Desirable:

• Proficiency using computer processing programs
• Experience with cosmetics formulas or industrial paint manufacturing
• Knowledge of the film special effects cosmetics industry
