We have two opportunities within the Murrumbidgee Far West Western NSW District

Location - One ongoing opportunity at Walgett and a Temporary opportunity at Parkes

Employment type - We have an ongoing opportunity located at Walgett CSC and a Temporary Opportunity at Parkes CSC within the Murrumbidgee, Far West and Western NSW District.

Salary - $82,193 to $90,001 per annum + Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading.

Your role

The Senior Customer Service Officer will provide crucial high-level support to the Community Service Centre with responsibility for various key administrative functions. Core accountabilities include reception, mailbox and invoice management, liaising with various stakeholders, and working across several databases and systems.

You are highly motivated and can work independently. Your flexible approach, ability to plan and prioritise and understand systems will set you apart from the rest. As an effective communicator and relationship builder, solving problems and working collaboratively will come naturally to you. Demonstrated experience in administration coordination and delivery is essential. Ability to use Word and Excel is a must. This role requires the ability to use multiple systems, attention to detail and integrity of client related data.

What you'll do

  • Provide a range of administrative and support services, including records management, routine correspondence with internal and external service providers, financial records, meeting minutes and coordination and actioning of tasks to support the effective operation of the unit.
  • Collect and compile information and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making
  • Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate and stored correctly and securely

What we're looking for

  • Experience in working in a high-pressure team environment delivering services to vulnerable clients with a high level of communication and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Competency with a range of relevant technology and software applications.
  • Ability to interpret policies, standards and procedures and act with a high level of integrity whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • You will be exposed to highly sensitive matters that at times you may find confronting so the importance for confidentiality and self-care is very important.

  • Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
