The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Roller Shutter & Outdoor Blinds Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical skills or trade experience who is eager to develop their career in roller shutter and outdoor blinds installation, maintenance, and repair. Full training will be provided to help the right candidate build their skills and knowledge in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of roller shutters and outdoor blinds to ensure top performance.
• Support the installation of new roller shutters and outdoor blinds, including manual and motorised systems.
• Diagnose and repair minor faults under supervision.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while performing tasks.
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Deliver professional and respectful customer service.
• Work alongside experienced technicians to develop technical skills and knowledge.
• Keep work areas and company vehicles clean and organised in line with our commitment to tidiness.

Essential Requirements:

• Basic mechanical aptitude or previous hands-on experience in a trade-related field (e.g., construction, electrical, mechanical, or similar).
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• A valid class C driver’s licence.
• Ability and confidence to work at heights and in confined spaces when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.

Desirable Qualifications:

• White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain.
• Working at Heights Certification or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Any prior experience in roller shutter and outdoor blinds installation, repair, or related trades.
