EXPERIENCED TRUCK AND DOG DRIVER – FULL TIME POSITION!!!!!

We are an expanding family owned and operated business, looking for an experienced and professional Truck and Dog Driver for an immediate start in the Construction Materials Industry can be based on the Northside of Brisbane Or Southside

Our work is all over SE Queensland - Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast day shift work, and some Saturdays. We are offering a full time position with above award wages driving well maintained equipment.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Following all WHS and Heavy Vehicle legislation and guidelines.
• Follow all Management directives.
• Follow and abide by all road and site-specific rules and guidelines.
• Completing your paperwork daily (including Pre-Starts on vehicles).

About You

• You have a current HC driver’s license (or higher) – with a clean driving record.
• You take pride in your job, representing the company on site and on the road.
• You are self-motivated, hands-on, hard working and a team player.
• You are punctual and reliable with some mechanical knowledge an advantage
• You have strong ethics towards providing quality service at all times
• You are committed to safe work practices and can work independently.
• Must be available to work Monday-Saturday. (occasional Saturdays)

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this opportunity, you must have the following:

• Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) Truck License.
• Road Ranger experience
• Construction Industry White card.
• Demonstrated relevant industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Commercial Driver medical including drug screen
• Must be willing to undergo a Verification of Competency (VOC) Driver Assessment
• Able to provide 2 x recent work-related references.
