About the Role
Join the team at Wee Waa Community Hospital and seize an exciting full-time, permanent opportunity to truly make an impact in your community! In this role, you’ll provide expert, holistic, and collaborative emergency care while delivering clinical services, education, consultation, and health promotion. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you’ll bring your expertise to both the general ward and emergency department, overseeing admissions and patient presentations. You’ll also guide and mentor your colleagues, providing valuable insights and expertise to the team. Enjoy strong support from rural and regional health services which requires no overnight shifts.

About You
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously, taking ownership of your workload and accepting accountability for your actions, as well as your professional responsibilities. A strong background in Emergency Care, with recent and diverse clinical experience is crucial for this role. You will demonstrate excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. You'll manage and maintain up-to-date client files in iPM and impatient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the emergency department of their emergency department post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
- Eligible to drive in NSW.
