About the Role

Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and make a significant impact in AML/CTF operations? As the ECDD Team Leader at BOQ Group, you'll guide and inspire your team to achieve operational goals. You'll oversee ECDD Analysts conducting in-depth reviews of customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and BOQ policies.

You - the successful candidate will assist the ECDD Senior Manager in managing the team and handling operational responsibilities, including reporting. You'll foster a high-performance culture, provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members, and manage day-to-day operations.

You'll supervise the team's workflow to meet service levels and quality standards, prioritise customer satisfaction, and develop monthly reporting packs to evaluate the team's performance. Proactive management of risk incidents and supporting the Manager in documenting and managing controls will be crucial.

About you

Are you a Financial Crime fighter – we are looking for someone with previous people leader experience, preferably with a background in financial crime team leadership, with demonstrated expertise in AML/CTF legislations and AUSTRAC reporting requisites, is essential.

Exceptional communication abilities to challenge the status quo, highly developed analytical and problem-solving proficiencies, and proficiency in task prioritisation and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment are crucial.
