Role Overview

As the Community Manager you will be the welcoming face for all guests, and tenants, and the go-to contact for our community. Your responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the space and fostering a vibrant community environment.

You will be responsible for the efficient, cost-effective operation and maintenance of facilities and delivering exceptional customer service to our members and guests. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will help bring community events, workshops, and programs to life — from coordinating the perfect setup to managing catering and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reception and office coordination: Ensure the space is opened and closed each day, turning TV’s, coffee machine, air-conditioning, lights and appliances on/off daily. Manage kitchen consumables and order stock as required. Answer email and phone enquiries about the space, facilities, memberships and events.
  • Community building: Welcome new members with an induction, tour, welcome kit and building access. Build great relationships with members and create a space where people love coming to work. Deliver community events like morning tea’s, networking drinks and office lunches that bring the community together.
  • Facility management: Work with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient and cost-effective management of our facilities. Manage contractors and suppliers for planned maintenance, repairs, incidents, site inspections and emergencies. This includes cleaning contractors, landscapers, air-conditioning contractors etc.
  • Leasing: Manage and grow our members that lease private offices and coworking desks. Provide space tours to guests and prospective tenants. Use our coworking software to sign up new members, send application forms, and finalise agreements for members moving out.
  • Events Support: Support the Program Team in delivering creative, fun events, workshops, and programs. Help coordinate logistics, including setup, catering, and supplier management.
  • Room Bookings: Managing meeting and event bookings through our online system

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a true ‘people person’
  • Ability to work quickly, prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to adapt, learn and grow

Why Join Us
