This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in Grill’d’s growth by securing top-tier locations, with a focus on new freestanding drive-thru sites. You’ll be the go-to person for all property matters in NSW, working closely with the national team to support their existing restaurant portfolio while also spearheading expansion efforts.

What This Role Entails

You’ll be stepping into a senior role within the Grill’d team as the lead person for property in NSW, engaging with stakeholders at all levels and building strong relationships that align with the company’s values. Your ability to scout, negotiate, and secure prime locations will be instrumental in the brand’s ongoing success.

You’ll be responsible for managing relationships with landlords and property representatives, ensuring they align with Grill’d’s property strategy. It’s all about professionalism, positivity, and a proactive approach.

You’ll be leading the charge in finding the best sites, staying ahead of competitors, and ensuring smooth negotiations that set the business up for success.

Beyond securing new locations, you’ll also collaborate with various departments; Operations, Marketing, Finance, Design & Development to keep everyone aligned and informed.

Whether it’s reporting insights from the field, navigating lease agreements, or managing property disputes, you’ll be a key player in making things happen efficiently and effectively.

What You Bring to the Table:

To hit the ground running, it is expected that you have an established track record in the acquisition of freestanding “pad” sites, ideally for a QSR group, or similar (mixed use, fuel or childcare for example).

It is essential that you have full working rights for Australia and proven local experience – sorry but sponsorship and work visas are not available for this role.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and loves the challenge of property negotiations.

You’ll be data-savvy, using insights to make informed decisions, and you’ll have the confidence to represent the Grill’d brand with landlords and stakeholders.

Most importantly, you’re someone who takes full ownership of your work, always striving to deliver the best outcomes for the team and the business.

Important Details

With no physical office in NSW, this role is fully autonomous and based either from home, or "out and about" seeking new locations and meeting external parties. You will also fly to Melbourne fairy regularly for all-hands property team meetings.
