An opportunity exists for a fulltime Yard Driver / Loader at our foodservice branch located in Dandenong.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor this position requires the applicant to efficiently and safely load trucks, drive trucks on and off loading docks, put away received stock, pick and assemble goods, and maintain general tidiness of the facility. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting. This is an early morning 4:00am shift position. Training on our in-house systems will be provided.

Duties:

• Lift, stack and unstack goods using electric and powered forks
• Pick and assemble goods
• Drive trucks on and off loading docks
• Load trucks
• Maintain product integrity

Skills and Experience:

• A current HR Licence and Forklift licence (essential)
• Be physically fit
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work in the freezer storage area at minus 25 degrees temperature
