Teterin Engineering is looking for suitable applicants to join our Cylinder Head reconditioning team. Experience is preferable, but not necessary as training will be provided.

The role is open to both Tradesman and Trades Assistant level applicants.

Strong mechanical aptitude, organisational skills and attention to quality work is a must.

About the Position:

Based in our state-of-the-art facility in Islington, we are seeking experienced cylinder head technicians and engine reconditioners to join our industry renowned cylinder head team, where you will work on a variety of Cylinder Heads from large industrial engines and related components from the marine, mining, defence and power generation industries and more. As a Cylinder Head reconditioner at Teterin Engineering, you will play a vital role in:

• Stripping, survey and reporting on findings of cylinder heads and associated auxiliary equipment from large and industrial engines from Mining, Transport, Power Generation, Oil and Gas and Defence industries.
• Machining, assembly and testing of cylinder heads and engine related componentry to the highest standards of quality and performance.
• Performing work efficiently, productively, and cooperatively, while adhering to our strict safety protocols and company policies
• Assisting in the training and mentorship of trainees and apprentices, sharing your knowledge and skills.

About You:

To be considered for this position, you will ideally possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Relevant experience with cylinder head reconditioning or other related mechanical roles.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with heightened awareness
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine passion for delivering top-notch workmanship
• Proven experience in engine rebuilding, showcasing your expertise and technical proficiency
