Personal Carer | Community Care

  • Employment Status: Permanent Part Time
  • Location: Crows Nest & Surrounding Areas
  • Remuneration: $34.23 p/hr + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM's) + Employee discounts

As a Personal Carer you'll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

  • Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
  • In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
  • Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
  • Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

  • Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification
  • Current Australian drivers licence and roadworthy vehicle as required (Applicable only for Personal - Carer - Community Aged Care)
  • Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
