Experienced Occupational Therapist required for NT hospital. You will join a team of 17 clinicians and cover the following caseload:

• Inpatients, outpatient, rehab patient and general medical and surgical patients and paediatrics
• 31st March start date (3 months minimum commitment required)
• There is also a permanent role available
• Return travel reimbursed and free accommodation for locums. A driving license is required for this role.
• This is a sole Occupational Therapy roles so relevant experience is required - this role is not suitable for graduates

Locum rates upto $85 per hour super dependent on experience. FREE accommodation available.

• Humility – both culturally and at times clinically (e.g. strong clinical skills in one setting may not always translate if we need to approach the same medical problem with a clinical yarning method)
• Independence in self-management – e.g. admin, prioritisation, equipment ordering and prescription, inpatients and outpatients, clinical variety
• Openness in communication – clear and proactive in asking questions, raising concerns and seeking support
• Openness to learning – there will be skills that we are happy to support in the development of, but locums need to be open to learning and then implementing those skills (e.g. capacity assessments and paediatric feeding)

• An understanding of what kind of communication style they have, and what kind of management style they thrive in
• Positive, give-it-a-go attitude, and recognition that this could be seen as an adventure and learning experience even if we need to shift expectations
